Dear Mr. and Mrs. Lee,

My name is Alan Jijón and I am from Montreal, in the province of Quebec, Canada.  I am 18 years old and I am currently in my first year studying psychology at university.  I live with my parents in Montreal.  My father is an architect and my mother is a high school teacher. 

 I want to express my sincere gratitude for offering to host me during my stay in Manchester.  In my free time, I enjoy playing pool and reading about poems and horror.  I also love to go running and do outdoor activities.

 During my stay in Manchester, I am very motivated to study hard and improve my English, as I aspire to become a psychologist.  I am particularly interested in studying human behaviors and hope to contribute to modern psychology. 

 I am very excited to meet you and learn more about your culture and country.
