A Regular Office Job-Or not?

A Regular Office Job - Or not

Alan is 20 years old and he works as a bed tester at a mattress company in Houston. He works very hard, but his company wants him to take breaks during the day, so he takes classes and goes out to party with his friends.

Alan wakes up every weekday at 4:30 a.m. m. He eats breakfast sometimes and then he leaves for work at 8:00 a.m. m. He usually arrives at work around 7:45 a.m. m.; The trip takes more than an hour and the buses are always full of people.

From 9:00 a.m. m. until 9:20 a.m. m., Alan reads his email and talks to his family. Afterwards everyone in his office gets for a brief meeting. The manager tells everyone any important information and workers can ask questions. Alan thinks it's a good way to start the day, just lying in bed.

At about 12:15 or 12:30, Alan takes an extra break. He often works testing mattresses to test the comfort and quality for people's use. At 2:30 he has lunch with his co-workers. Families bring food to their relatives who are working.

At night, Alan takes on another job of testing more mattresses around 3:00 p.m. She goes to the department to test the mattress at home. Alan feeds his brothers and his sick mother, this job helps him a lot to have money.

Alan never leaves the office before 7:30 p.m. He always has dinner with his family. The meal doesn't cost much money. He returns home at 9:30 p.m.
